Sovereign Industrial AI: Diagnose Breakdowns in Plain Language

A machine stops. The technician arrives in three days. The one person who knew why it fails is about to retire. Every industrial director recognizes this instantly — and this is the problem Vauban-X was built to solve.
Our sovereign industrial AI captures the knowledge hidden in workshops, helps diagnose breakdowns in plain language, guides operators through repairs, and predicts failures before they happen, all while keeping production data on the customer’s own servers.

Free Assessment

We come to your plant, analyze your machine, then provide a written report showing where time, knowledge, and productivity are being lost. This assessment helps determine how AI for industrial machines can support your operators, preserve your workshop memory, and prepare your maintenance strategy. No cost. No obligation.

The Manifesto

Here, and not before — the Vauban parallel, the three resonances, "burn more powder, spill less blood", the founder's signed text. This is what makes a director choose us rather than a software vendor, but only once he knows what we sell. Give it room and let it be beautiful.

Hubert Pédurand

Founder and President of Vauban-X After forty years in the French graphic arts industry, Hubert Pédurand brings the perspective of someone who has lived the realities of the workshop from the inside. A former CEO of a printing company, he builds technology for the machines, operators, and industrial environments he knows firsthand.
He is the inventor of Gutenberg-X, the smallest book printing plant in the world: a robotic device for producing a single book on demand, from cover to binding. The patented invention, Device for robotic printing of individually produced books and associated process, FR3093467, was filed in 2019, with patents granted in France, Europe, and the United States.
Hubert Pédurand holds an MIT Professional Education — Certificate of Completion in Applied Agentic AI for Organizational Transformation from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and is currently enrolled in a further MIT programme on AI applied to humanoid robotics, strengthening the research and technical foundation behind Vauban-X’s work in sovereign industrial AI.
He also serves as Vice-President for Innovation and Technical Director of UNIIC, the French printing industry federation, and is a member of the Steering Committee of Intergraf, the European federation. He is the author of La France désimprimée, a manifesto for industrial reconquest.

Help your operators diagnose and fix breakdowns faster.
